Where am I?

Hey dear readers. I’m sorry to disappoint you, but this is not a new chapter. I’m simply here to tell you why I have been so absent (and why I will remain so for some more time).

Most of you know this already, but it’s only fair that I tell you all. This summer has and will be crazy for me. The last month I have been working at summer camp for kids between 7-12 years. That means I have been living away from home, without any Internet connection or gaming computer. It’s the best possible summer job and I love every part of it, but it drains me and when I do get home I’m usually really tired and busy catching up with my family and friends who I haven’t seen while working.

To add to that, I am also getting married in a month. Planning a wedding is stressful and a lot of work. Now that I have two weeks off work, I’m really busy with getting everything in order for the wedding. We’re getting there, but it’ still lots left to do. I might be able to squeeze in some gaming time this week, but I doubt I will be able to get an update out before the wedding. After the wedding the 24th of August I’m going to spend a week together with my husband cherishing our new marriage.

That means I will be back here in September. Thanks for sticking with me, and I wish you all a wonderful summer.

Casting Call Winner

A huge and warm thank you to everyone who participated. ❤

It makes me so happy and flattered that you all took time to make berries for me. I love how different all the submitted sims are too. Just look at them:

After an exciting elimination process where my fiance explained why each non-winning submission was eliminated, we have a winner!

(I really wished I had filmed the elimination for you – it was really exciting and fun to watch.)

Thanks once again to everyone for participating and I hope you enjoyed making sims as much as I enjoyed to see the results.

Much love

Oh my berry!

I don’t think I ever could have anticipated the feedback I would get from you my dear readers on this story. It was never meant to be my main story but I think it’s safe to say that the Twist family has pushed the Lord family down from that spot. We recently hit 10.000 views and that calls for a celebration! It’s nothing big, but I quite enjoyed putting together this slideshow with the summary of generation 1’s story. I hope you will enjoy and you can all look forward to similar slideshows for the other two generations as well.

Thanks for sticking with me and rest assure that every comment and every reader means a lot to me and that you all have greatly impacted this story and pushed me to move it along.

Much love,

Casting call!

So, I know I said I’ll keep the winning color a secret but since this generation’s story won’t be so much about finding the right one – but rather the couple’s life after they’ve found each other – I thought I could just as well reveal it.

I would also like to give all of my readers a chance to affect the Twist bloodline. This is it: I am looking for a spouse for Coral.

This is how it will work:
You create a purple YA male. He can look however you want and have whatever traits you wish. You post a link to him either here, in the forum thread, or as a message to my tumblr. I will create one myself, too. I will then throw them all in to my game and take pictures of them and in the end I will let my fiance decide which purple male is the lucky one. Turn them in within a week, at latest on the 18th of April.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing your creations.

(The non-winning creations will get to live in the legacy town and affect the genetics in my game that way.)

So you stumpled upon my rainbowcy? I suppose a welcome would be in order then; Welcome!

This is a rainbowcy played with the Random Legacy Challenge rules. That means I follow a particular color scheme and that I roll for each generation as for how that generation shall play out. In the sidebar, you can see the rolls as they are revealed in the story. However, if you wish to know the rolls beforehand (or know previous rolls) they can all be found on the Generational Rolls page. Be aware that this page may contain spoilers!

I incorporate a lot of berries from other players’ games in this story, because in my opinion it’s way more fun than to just use my own sims and the regular townies. If you would like to contribute to this I would be more than happy. Just comment on this or send me mail or something to tell me what sims you would like to donate. I’ll most likely ask for sims for special purposes now and then as well.

I hope you will enjoy my story and I look forward to a colorful bloodline!
